This Code of Conduct outlines the standards expected from all digital sellers on Elokise.
By selling on Elokise, you agree to follow these principles to ensure a fair, safe, and trustworthy marketplace.

 

1. Be Honest & Transparent

Sellers must:

  • Provide truthful and accurate product descriptions
  • Clearly state what the buyer will receive
  • Avoid exaggerated, misleading, or false claims
  • Your product must deliver what you promise.

 

2. Sell Only What You Own or Created

You must:

  • Sell only original content or content you have legal rights to
  • Respect copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property
  • Never upload stolen, copied, or pirated material
  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

 

3. Provide Real Value

Sellers are expected to:

  • Offer products that are useful, functional, and complete
  • Ensure files work properly and are accessible
  • Avoid low-effort or spam-like content
  • Elokise is built on value, not shortcuts.

 

4. Act Professionally

Sellers must:

  • Communicate respectfully with buyers
  • Respond to reasonable questions professionally
  • Avoid abusive, aggressive, or discriminatory behaviour
  • Respect builds trust and long-term success.

 

5. Follow Platform Rules & Policies

You agree to comply with:

  • Elokise Seller Terms
  • Marketplace guidelines
  • Pricing, refund, and payout rules
  • Repeated violations may lead to account suspension or removal.

 

6. Do Not Misuse the Platform

You may not:

  • Attempt to scam or defraud buyers
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Circumvent platform fees or payment systems
  • Use Elokise for illegal or harmful activities
  • Zero tolerance applies to fraud.

 

7. Respect Buyers & the Community

Sellers must:

  • Treat buyers fairly and ethically
  • Avoid offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Contribute positively to the Elokise community
  • Elokise is a growth-focused ecosystem.

 

8. Stay Compliant With the Law

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Complying with South African laws and regulations
  • Meeting tax obligations related to earnings
  • Respecting data privacy and POPIA requirements
  • Legal compliance protects everyone.

 

9. Accept Accountability

If a seller:

  • Violates this Code of Conduct
  • Breaches Seller Terms
  • Harms users or the platform
  • Elokise may take action, including:
  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
